Today was largely uneventful.  We got up early and drove, drove, drove.  I tried to have Ann videotape all the billboards for South of the Border but it's hard to film clearly in a van travelling seventy miles an hour.

Ann had never seen South of the Border so we had to stop and take a look.  I won't try to explain the place.  If you've never been there you need to stop by.  Don't go out of your way but ...  South of the Border is in South Carolina at the North Carolina state line on Interstate 95.

South Carolina has many billboards along the interstate.  Many of them advertise fireworks.  Ah, fireworks.

The old feelings of being stuck in an urban jungle began coming back to us as we reached Fredricksburg, Virginia.  Drivers began weaving in and out of traffic.  Things got ugly.  Our vacation was over.  Ugh!
