Bellagio gives a free water fountain show every fifteen minutes and Treasure Island gives a free pirate show every ninety minutes.  A stop at Starbucks broke up the long walk.

The show at the Bellagio turned out to be spectacular.  A pool in front of the hotel stretched for a couple hundred yards.  It was easily the length of two football fields.  They had fountains throughout the pool and produced various sprays lighted and coordinated to music.  The music was from a musical show (A Chorus Line perhaps - I'm not a big fan of musicals) and the fountains represented The Rockettes, I think.  Part of the show resembled fireworks and the grand finale shot water at least a hundred feet in the air.

The Treasure Island show featured two full-size tall ships having a sea battle.  The canon shots were loud and the fires on the two ships could be felt from several hundred feet.  Finally the pirate ship hit the powder magazine on the government ship and the government ship sank.  Everyone dove off the boat into the water except for the captain.  He sank with his ship.

Tomorrow we plan on taking a tour of the Ethel M. Chocolate factory, visiting the white tigers at The Mirage, seeing the tropical birds at the Hilton/Tropicana, and going to a show.  We would like to see Siegfried and Roy and but I understand that they are usually sold out.
